Giratina Origin Forme comes back to Tier 5 Raids in Pokemon Go, and this time it is Shiny. The Legendary Pokemon is a Ghost / Dragon type Pokemon and is weak to Dark Type Pokemons (such as Mega Houndoom, Darkrai and Bite/Crunch Tyranitar), Fairy Types (Such as Togekiss) and Dragon Types (Such as Palkia and Rayquaza).
To take down this legendary beast, it is recommended that 3 to 6 High Level players (typically Level 35 to 40) are needed. Where there are players who are at lower levels, 6+ will be needed in order to take down the Raid Boss.
Under certain circumstances, it can be done as a Duo, which will include Best Friends, Mega Houndoom on both players team and Weather Conditions being suited for your team.
Don’t forget that with remote raiding being available in game, you can invite up to 5 people to the raid per account and up to 10 remote invites, and can only be invited by people who can see the gym on their in-game radar.
Non-Weather Boosted Giratina 100% is 2105 and the Weather boosted (Fog and Windy) 100% is 2631.
For Great League, based on the current in-game mechanics, it is impossible to catch a Giratina that will fit this criteria, even if you trade one.
For Ultra League, based on the current movesets, availability of Pokemons, etc. it is currently ranked 8. The optimum IV Spread for Ultra League is 1/15/13 (Attack/Defense/Health), which can only be achieved by trading. If this is not an option, the next best IV is 10/15/14.
However, Giratina Origin Forme works best in Master League where is currently ranked 7. The optimum IV Spread will be 15/15/15 (Attack/Defense/Health) and powered up to maximum CP.
